External Bookings
External Bookings include ON-CAMPUS Departments and Organizations, OFF-CAMPUS Firms, Organizations, Non-Profit Agencies and Individuals.

Table Bookings:
- Student Centre Walkway: This short area of the 5 Minute Walk is covered by the overhang and provides an ideal space for high volume walk through traffic during events. This space is divided into four subsections, (SCW-1, SCW-2, SCW-3, and SCW-4) to allow for easier administration of table bookings.
- East Great Hall: This is the section of the Great Hall inside the Student Centre in front of the InfoBooth desk and does not include the hallway that leads into the pub from the Great Hall. This area is well suited for large presentations that involve display tables. This space is divided into 4 subsections (EGH-1, EGH-2, EGH-3, EGH-4) to allow for easier administration of table bookings.
Room Bookings:
- SC Presentation Room (Capacity 150 chairs): This is the biggest room in the Student Centre offering easy multimedia connectivity to a large screen, projector, DVD and VHS, and full sound system. Located on the ground floor, right in front of the information desk (infoBooth).
- SC Board Room, RM 270 (Capacity 50 chairs): This room is ideal for panel or board type discussions as it is the largest room on the second floor and will hold approx. 50 chairs in an auditorium style set up.
- SC Meeting Room, RM 280 (Capacity 40 chairs): This room, on the second floor, is ideal for workshops and classroom discussions.
- SC Conference Room (Capacity 12 chairs): This room is generally used for small private meetings, and gatherings.

Step 2: Send an email to the Member Services Coordinator at internal@utmsu.ca with the location, date and time of your booking request.
Rates (Daily Prices):
Table Bookings: $200
- Fee includes 1 table, 2 chairs and space to table. For additional tables, chairs and/or space for booking, an additional fee of $75 will apply. If you bring your own table, there will be an additional charge for space utilized.
Room Bookings: Flat rate of $225 for 4 hours. Additional $25 for every hour after within operational hours (9AM-9PM).
- Fee includes allocated tables and chairs (approx. number of guests must be indicated during booking)
- Each room (except the Presentation Room) has a TV and remote. Additional tech (HDMI cords, etc) must be requested during booking.
Please note that the UTM Students’ Union may change the rates at any time.
