Introduction to American Sign Language

Taught by a representative from the Canadian Hearing Society, you will learn a variety of sign language phrases for basic communication. Being aware of the difference in communication methods is a strong theme for this session so students will learn how to approach and how to engage in conversation via ASL.

NOTE: Class attendance will be capped at 18 people due to the close range of proximity needed to effectively teach this skill. Please contact the uSkills coordinator at uskills@utmsu.ca to reserve your spots AND be sure to be able to attend the entire session.
